Ten on Ten

ten on ten button

Check out Rebekah's site for more 10 on 10 fun - The objective is to take one picture every hour on the tenth of the month.
I guess I got a bee in my bonnet to start participating in these kinds of things. I feel all giddy and electrified for participating and putting it all out there! Whee!!

8:00 am
Making the grocery list - and drawing a picture of Elmo.

Dropped Tim off at Mission Bay to study. On the way to the grocery I stopped into Jamba Juice for my daily 2 ounces of wheat grass juice.

Trader Joe's. Last week when we were there Ada ran up to a little girl and opened and closed her upturned fist - her signal for "gimmie some of that!!". The little girl shared and Ada followed her around the store begging for more baked sugar snap peas. I finally got her a bag of her own. Today I went straight to that aisle first. Hey, she's eating something green!

Playing with play-doh to settle down before her nap.

noon
World's Shortest Nap. Clocked in at just under an hour.

The rhubarb pie I made while Ada was napping is out of the oven and looking and smelling so good. It's worth the work to make your own crust. Used this recipe. Epic, indeed.

Buckling Stella into her stroller.

In retrospect, I think I must have missed some time here. This was actually closer to 4:00 getting on the Bay Bridge. A Giant's game had only just ended and traffic was wicked.

Uncle Colin took a coffee roasting class at Sweet Maria's. I am exceedingly happy that I get to benefit by proximity to this new hobby. Makes me think I might like to roast my own....Or convince Tim to do it. So Delicious.

Again, a time warp must have happened because this must have been closer to 7:00. Crossing the Bay Bridge back into my city as the sun sets over the Golden Gate Bridge leading to the north bay.

My kiddos love those peas!

I'm in CA, too :-)

My kids are hooked on those snap peas, I have to keep the bag away from myself because I think they are pretty good too.

We ended up stuck on traffic on the bay bridge yesterday afternoon, it took a long time to get across.

best,

elena
